Q: IS NIAGARA FALLS OPEN?
A: Yes. – Niagara Falls State Park in Niagara Falls New York USA is open every day of the year for viewing the Falls. In Niagara Falls Canada, Queen Victoria Park is open for viewing Niagara Falls 24/7/365. The boat rides below Niagara Falls and most seasonal attractions typically close for the season in late October and reopen during the months of April and May. Details for all major Niagara Falls attractions are posted below.
Border Crossing: The Rainbow Bridge between Niagara Falls New York USA and Niagara Falls Ontario Canada is open 24 hours a day every day of the year. Typically there are no delays yet you can check current border crossing times beforehand.

The nightly Illumination of the Falls will begin at 8:30pm and operate until 2:00am April 1st to July 31st 2024. (X)
Fireworks are displayed every night over the Falls during the summer months at 10:00pm. The nightly fireworks displays for 2024 will begin during mid-May and continue through the first week of October. (X).
NIAGARA FALLS NEW YORK USA ATTRACTIONS – April 2024
OPEN: Prospect Point at Niagara Falls State Park in Niagara Falls New York USA is open 24/7/365 for viewing the Falls. The new Niagara Falls Welcome Center is now open from 8:00am until 6:00pm daily during the month of April. The $1.25 fee to walk out on the Falls Observation Deck is waived for those riding on the Maid of the Mist during the tourism season months of April through October. Automobile parking is currently $10.00 per vehicle during April. (X)
OPEN: Goat Island – Open daily from sunrise until 8:00pm Sunday through Thursday and until 10:00pm on Fridays & Saturdays year round. There is no fee to enter Goat Island yet there is a fee for parking. The pedestrian bridge is always open to Goat Island and there is no fee to cross. Parking fee is $15.00 per vehicle on Friday-Sunday and $10.00 Monday to Thursday. (X)
OPEN: Cave of the Winds – On Goat Island opens at 9:00am daily seven days a week. April hours are from 9:00am-4:15pm. From April 5th -8th hours are extended to 6:15pm for the Eclipse. Tickets for admission are sold only at the ticket window. Off-season price of admission is $14.00 for adults and $10.00 for youth. In season rate beginning May 1st 2024 is $21.00 & $17.00. (X)
OPEN: Niagara Falls Aquarium – Open seven days a week from 9:00am-5:00pm. $19.95 adults, $14.95 youth 3-12, <2 free . Last tickets sold 30 minutes prior to closing. Parking is $5.00. Advance ticket sales are preferred and available from www.aquariumofniagara.org. (X)
OPEN: Whirlpool State Park – Open daily from sunrise to sunset. There are no fees for parking. Gorge trails are open but use caution.
OPEN: Niagara Power Vista (hydro-electric plant) – Now open seven days a week from 9:00am to 5:00pm. No fee to visit and free parking is available. (X)
OPEN: Old Fort Niagara – Currently open Wednesday – Sunday from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Beginning April 1st Old Fort Niagara will be open seven days a week. Last tickets sold at 3:30pm. Adults $20.00 and $12.00 youth 6-12. Free parking. *You may be charged to enter the State Park but the fee will be deducted from your ticket purchase. Be sure to save your receipt. (X)
OPENING SOON: Niagara Scenic Trolley – Open from 9:00am until 5:00pm seven days a week. Trolley Fee is $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for youth 6-12. Service will resume in April 1st 2024. Hours of operation for the Eclipse will be 9:00am-7:30pm (April 5th-April 8th). (X)
OPENING SOON: Niagara Falls Maid of the Mist – Is currently closed. In season hours are 8:00am-6:00pm. 2024 pricing $28.25 for adult $17.75 for youth 6-12 <5 free. Last tickets are sold 15 minutes prior to closing. Opens Thursday April 4th 2024. (X)
CLOSED: Whirlpool Jet Boat – Lewiston location is closed for the season. Reservations are required and are now being accepted for the 2024 season. Adults $64.95 Child 6-12 $39.95. In season first run of the day is typically at 11:00am. Opens May 24th 2024. (X)
CLOSED: Hydro Power Plant Ruins – Open daily 8:00am to 5:00pm seven days a week in season. Free parking and no entry fees. (X)
CLOSED: ArtPark in Lewiston NY – The 2024 live entertainment concert series will posted when available. (X)
Parking at any of the NY State Parks in Niagara Falls NY is currently $10.00 per vehicle during April. In season rate during May through September is $10.00 per vehicle Monday through Thursday and $15.00 Friday-Sunday. Credit Cards only. (X) (X)
NIAGARA FALLS ONTARIO CANADA ATTRACTIONS – April 2024
OPEN: Queen Victoria Park in Niagara Falls Ontario Canada is open 24/7 for viewing the Falls. During the summer months you can try the Queen Victoria Place Restaurant which opens Friday May 10th 2024. Restaurant will be open Monday April 8th 11:30am – 10:00pm for the Eclipse. (X)
OPEN: Table Rock Visitor Centre / Journey Behind the Falls – Open daily M-F from 9:00am until 6:00pm and 8:00pm Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets for Journey Behind the Falls: Current admission fee – Adults $19.00 – Child 3-12 $12.50. In season rate May-Sept Adults $24.00 – Child 3-12 $16.00. Please arrive at least one hour before closing. (X)
OPEN: Greg Frewin Theatre – Open for performances and dinner shows every Friday and Saturday during the month of April. Special guest appearance by magician Ryan Joyce on April 6th, 7th & 8th. Reservations are recommended. Walk-ins are welcome on a first come first served basis. (X)

OPEN: Hornblower Niagara City Cruises – Boat Ride Below the Falls is now open for the 2024 season. Now open seven days a week 10:00am to 5:30pm. Boats typically depart every 15-30 minutes. 2024 rate: Adults: $33.50 Child 3-12: $23.50.(X)
CLOSED: Whirlpool Aero Car – Is closed. Open from 9:00am to 6:00pm during the tourism season. Adults $17.50 Child 3-12 $11.50. Plenty of parking usually available. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before closing. Opens Friday April 5th 2024. (X)

The Wonder Pass includes Journey Behind the Falls, Niagara Parks Power Station + Tunnel, Butterfly Conservatory, Floral Showcase, Wego Bus Transportation with 2-day unlimited access, Falls Incline Railway with 2-day unlimited access. Adult (13+) $49.00 + $6.37 tax = $55.37 – Child (3-12 years) $32.00 + $4.16 tax= $36.16
