Q: Is the bridge between Niagara Falls New York USA and Niagara Falls Ontario Canada open?
A: The Rainbow Bridge is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. However due to Covid the border between Niagara Falls New York USA and Niagara Falls Canada is closed until May 21st 2021 and will likely remain closed until June 21st 2021. TOURISTS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO CROSS THE BORDER – NO EXCEPTIONS.
Q: IS NIAGARA FALLS OPEN?
A: Yes and no. We’ll explain. The public park areas surrounding Niagara Falls are open for viewing the Falls. Face to face attractions in Niagara Falls Canada are closed. At Niagara Falls State Park in New York the Cave of the Winds is open on Goat Island and the park is open for viewing the Falls.
Hotels are open in US & Canada. Canadian hotel restaurants are offering take-out food only or room service when possible. Most hotel pools and exercise facilities are closed or have occupancy restrictions. Restaurants in Niagara Falls Canada offer take-out service only. Restaurants in Niagara Falls NY offer sit down and take-out service.
COVID RESTRICTIONS FOR NIAGARA FALLS ONTARIO CANADA. The province of Ontario has extended the province wide stay at home order lockdown until May 28th 2021.

NIAGARA FALLS USA ATTRACTIONS
OPEN: Prospect Park at Niagara Falls State Park in Niagara Falls New York USA is open 24/7 for viewing the Falls. The observation tower is open daily 10:00am to 4:30pm weather permitting. Cave of the Winds & Visitor Center Gift Shops are open daily from 9 AM – 4:15 PM. Snacks & drinks are available in both these locations. The Visitor Center Deli will operate from 10 AM – 4:00 PM Friday thru Sunday each week.
OPEN: Goat Island – Open from sunrise until sunset.
OPEN: Whirlpool State Park – Open from sunrise to sunset.
NIAGARA FALLS CANADA ATTRACTIONS
All Niagara Parks of Canada face to face attractions are currently closed. No opening dates are currently available.
OPEN: Queen Victoria Park in Niagara Falls Ontario Canada is open 24/7 for viewing the Falls. All park restaurants & gift shops are closed. Please follow official information provided by the Ontario Public Health website. (X)

Question: Should I plan a visit to Niagara Falls?
Answer: It depends. Most visitors to Niagara Falls prefer to visit both sides of the border. Currently crossing the border is not possible and may likely affect your decision. If you are not bothered by not being able to visit the “other side” by all means stop by for a visit!
