Seneca Hickory Stick USA www.senecahickorystick.com call: 1-716-754-2424
4560 Creek Road
Lewiston NY 14092
The new Robert Trent Jones II designed golf course in Lewiston NY opened for business in the spring of 2010. Named to reflect the presence of rare and protected Shellbark Hickory trees on site, Seneca Hickory Stick features a picturesque layout highlighted by tranquil lakes and ponds, native plants and grasses that are surrounded by large mature trees. Unlimited range balls & cart included with greens fees. This is the best course in the Niagara area. Impeccable course maintenance, challenging yet still a pleasure to play. Best of all the rate of play is excellent compared to the other top notch courses in the area.
Hole #2 Par 3
Grand Niagara Resort CANADA www.grandniagararesort.com toll free: 1-866-607-4653
8547 Grassy Brook Road
Port Robinson, ON, L0S 1K0
The most beautiful course in a rural setting. Undoubtedly one of the best courses in Southern Ontario. If you slice a lot bring plenty of balls. They’re impossible to find in the heather grass. The club house is minimal but if you’re looking to play an awesome round this is the course for you. The Resort part of the name has yet to be built making for a very quiet and tranquil setting. A very challenging course for an amateur yet it’s the best course on the Canadian side of Niagara. Bring your mosquito repellent! To quote designer Reese Jones “We have built a golf course at the Grand Niagara Club that could host a major championship.”
Hole #11 par 3
Thundering Waters CANADA www.thunderingwaters.com toll free: 1 (877) 833-3259
6000 Marineland Parkway, Niagara Falls, Canada, L2E 6X8
You better be able to hit them straight. There are a lot of sand traps and thick woods. Greens play like a rock and your ball will roll off easily. Minimal clubhouse and pro-shop facilities. Carts have a great GPS system which tells you how far the group is in front of you and the exact distance to the pin. Probably the toughest course listed here and it’s the closest course to the Falls.
Hole #12 par 5
Legends on the Niagara CANADA www.niagaraparksgolf.com toll free: 1-866-465-3642
9651 Niagara Parkway, Niagara Falls, ON, L2E 6S6
Legends on the Niagara is run by the Province’s Niagara Parks Commission. There are actually three courses here, Battlefield, Ushers Creek and the 9 hole Chippawa. They were the best maintained courses in Niagara but the quality has slipped over the past year. Great scenery with excellent restaurant and bar facilities. Rate of play on Battlefield & Chippewa can be painstakingly slow. Bring a large dose of patience with you.

Oak Hall Par 3 Golf Club CANADA no website tel: 905-358-6418
7516 Portage Rd.
Niagara Falls, ON
This nine hole par 3 course offers generously open fairways and relatively flat greens that are kept in pristine condition. The signature hole is #7, a 120-yard, par 3, featuring a sand bunker in front of a horseshoe-shaped green and a gorgeous view of Niagara Falls, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Whirlpool Golf Club CANADA www.niagaraparksgolf.com tee times: 1-866-465-3642
3351 Niagara Parkway Niagara Falls, ON
A fantastic Golf Course maintained by Niagara Parks. You won’t find a better course in Ontario at these prices. The nearby tourism helicopter service can test your nerves while hitting that tee shot. Best for early morning tee-off. The course has quite a bit of rolling terrain so a cart is a necessity and it also makes for a lot of blind shots if you aren’t familiar with the course.
Willo-Dell Country Club CANADA www.thelinksofniagara.com tel: 905-295-8181
10325 Willodell Road Niagara Falls, ON
Niagara on the Lake Golf Club CANADA www.notlgolf.com tel: 905 468-3424
143 Front Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake ON
A semi-private 9 hole course in Niagara on the Lake. Set on the shores of beautiful Lake Ontario. A fun and not too challenging course which can be easily walked. Great scenery, great restaurant in a great little town 13 miles from the Falls
Hyde Park Golf
NEW YORK www.niagarafallsusa.org tel: 716 297-2067 4343 Porter Road, Niagara Falls N.Y.
A 36 hole municipally owned and maintained course. Two nine hole courses: south red and the south white. The red is for beginners and the white is in decent shape. The 18 hole course is called the North yellow. Only $18.00 for eighteen holes. The pace of play can be excruciatingly slow but still a fun course to play.
Beaver Island Golf NEW YORK www.nysparks.com tel: 716 773-4668
Take the Beaver Island exit off I-190 and follow the parkway to Beaver Island State Park.
This New York State Parks operated course is a lot of fun to play and is always in good shape. The various well placed water hazards can humble you quickly if your not careful. Probably the best bang for your buck in Western New York. The Canadian Geese that make this their home are nice to look at but watch your step and your shot.
