Niagarafallslive.com installed the first ever hi-definition streaming webcams of Niagara Falls in 2011. It's been a tremendous success and we thank you for visiting our website. In order to keep the pages ad free we ask you to "like" them on facebook. For 2012 we have purchased equipment to enable a completely mobile broadcast. We will be broadcasting live with close ups of the Falls and other attractions. Be sure to check back for our schedule of live broadcasts and their locations. There is a lot of misinformation regarding crossing the border into Niagara Falls Canada and returning to the United States. Adults age sixteen and over require a passport or passport card ($110.00 & $55.00). Children under the age of sixteen are required to provide their original birth certificate. Even with enhanced security at the international bridges, crossing times are minimal with no delays except on holidays. More information on identification requirements can be found here.

	The Rink at the Brink is back again this year! You can test your skating ability near the brink of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls starting December 1st through February 29th 2012. 	Calling all photographers....we're having another photo contest! If you have an great photo of Niagara Falls submit it for your chance to win up to $1,000.00 US dollars in prize money. E-mail your submissions to info@niagarafallslive.com. Photos of local attractions and not just the Falls are being accepted and encouraged! Professionals and amateurs of all ages are welcome to enter. Deadline for entries is December 30th 2012. Official entry rules and information. Winners will be announced by midnight January 2nd 2013.

	Will we ever see a tightrope walk over Niagara Falls again? Nik Wallenda has gotten approval from NY State to perform his high wire act over Niagara Falls. The question is which Falls? Traditionally tight rope walkers have crossed over the Canadian "Horseshoe" Falls and the Canadian side of Niagara has not given permission yet. In the event that they don't get the green light they could always string a cable above the American Falls. Either way it could provide for a dramatic scene at the Falls. We give the idea two thumbs up as long as he's wearing a harness!

Niagara Falls Fallsview hotels sell out quickly for weekends. If you are not restricted by travel dates, rates are lower for stays during Sundays through Thursdays. If you've never seen the Falls from a Fallsview room, you're in for a real treat! Check out the Marriott, Hilton & Embassy Suites for great deals and packages. 	On the U.S. side of Niagara Falls a new TGI Friday's just opened at the Sheraton at the Falls on Third Street. The food is great, the servers are fantastic and best of all the prices are tourist friendly. The hotels new owners are looking to provide a first class stay for visitors. It's great to see some investment being made on the New York side of Niagara Falls. Our hats are off to the DiCenzo family for their efforts!
	The new Jimmy Buffett Margaritaville restaurant is serving up some delicious food at their new location in Niagara Falls Canada. It's located at the top of Murray Street near the Fallsview Casino. Stop in for a cheeseburger in paradise and buy some great souvenirs to take home!

It's always Summer at the Fallsview Waterpark. Featuring fifteen slides, a surfing-themed AquaPlay area called Calypso Beach, several swimming pools and a wave pool. The Bird Aviary on the Canadian side known as "Bird Kingdom" is beautiful. An interesting mix of exotic birds in a rainforest setting is a pleasure for all age groups.

We've added a collection of hi-definition video clips taken from various locations around the Falls. Although the file sizes are quite large, they're definitely worth the wait.

This years entertainment schedule brings a host of top talent from around the country. If we could recommend any one attraction that is a "must try" during the tourist season we would have to recommend the Whirlpool Jetboat Tours. It's truly a one of kind adventure for everyone. If you don't mind getting soaking wet, it's better than any e-ticket ride at Disney. And if you don't want to get wet, they now offer the "Jet Dome" for those looking for a more relaxed site seeing tour on the Niagara River.
