It was an amazing and interesting place to see the history.

If you are in the Niagara Falls area, this place must be on your list to visit, if for no other reason than it's historical relevance. Everything about this place is worth exploring - the museum, the grounds, and buildings. Best of all are the staff. Their attitude to educate and take a moment to ensure you are completely enjoying your time with them is a breath of fresh air. The tour that's provided just after the movie was perfect, filled with historical facts and little known details about what it must have been like all those years ago. The musket demonstration was equally well done and the 20 minutes we watched went by in a flash. Lastly, make sure you take some time to view one of the oldest US flags in existence. It is dated to the War of 1812. We recommend you budget 2 hours to see everything, not including the lighthouse. We cannot recommend Old Fort Niagara enough.

Great place to see a piece of history from three wars, French and Indian, Revolutionary War and War of 1812. My only disappointment was we only saw two people dressed in period clothing. Would have been nice to have more actors working parts to give a better experience and to ask questions. My daughter and I had visited Fort George only two weekends ago and there were at least a dozen folks dressed the part, one young lady working in the kitchen, giving a full experience of what life was like in the fort.
Overall had a good time, and will consider going back one day in the future.
