We switched to STK last minute as we received a $100 off coupon from a nearby hotel. There were plenty of tables available on a Sunday night in March. We waited for about 5 minutes after checked-in. Our server led us to a table by the window. The view to the falls was excellent. We ordered a tuna tartare, a prime rib steak and a spinalis steak with peppercorn crust. The tuna tartare was just okay and the tuna wasn't very fresh. The prime rib was cooked right to medium rare. It was tender. However, it seemed it was just a piece of steak warmed up. It wasn't warm enough for me. It wasn't too bad so I didn't send it back. The spinalis was pretty good but not sure I want to pay extra for the peppercorn crust next time. For dessert, we ordered a carrot cake and it was good. The service was excellent. I'd expect more for the price they are charging. My bill was over $300 before applying the coupon.
Drove up from Buffalo, NY with another couple. Total of 4 of us. From the time we stepped out of the car, the valet were very friendly at the hotel, and the doorman welcomed us. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was perfect and the view of the falls and ambience was awesome with the DJ in the background. I would highly recommend on your next trip go to Niagara Falls Canada. A++
WOW! I have never experienced fine dining with a LOUD DJ!!!
I spoke to the manager and she said that it is REQUIRED by head office to be that loud to achieve the “Vegas style” atmosphere. She said we were the 3rd people to complain tonight. She said that every night she gets several complaints but there is nothing she can do about it.
If you want a quiet enjoyable evening, DONT GO HERE!!!
